NASO is EASPD representative for Bulgaria and participates in the EASPD Board in the person of Mr. Georgi Georgiev, President of NASO.

Through its representatives NASO works in the EASPD Standing Committees on Employment and Enlargement.

As a nationally represented organization for persons with disabilities, NASO is recognized by the Council of Ministers with Decision 120 on March the 2nd, 2011, NASO is a member and works very actively in the National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities.
