Field Aperture: ISA Project Workshop
NASO run a workshop on Field Aperture: Inclusion in Society by the Arts (ISA) Project in Varna as part of the project dissemination plan. Over 30 people from Bulgaria and Europe, including persons with disabilities, took part in the event.
Anelia Atanasova (NASO) outlined the project goals and the results achieved, the mission and vision of people involved and introduced the workshop participants.
Ivan Tsvetanov, manager of Phoenix Theatre Group, talked about the pleasure of performing on stage and the way this helped in making friends. Samah Ben Abdallah, project manager at LADAPT, presented good practices from France in integrating persons with disabilities by culture and arts-based activities and the organization’s work in this field.
The workshop was inspiring and showed the artistic talent of people with disabilities and the efforts of everyone working for their social integration by arts and culture. The participants agreed that there was no limit to creative energy and that all obstacles would be surmountable if people were more open-minded.
