Meeting with President Rumen Radev
On 30 November 2017 Bulgarian President Rumen Radev met with national disability-related organisations at the Presidency Building. The President said that the meeting dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities aimed to discuss the problems the persons with disabilities face and the need for collective actions to achieve better results in improving their lives in Bulgaria.
The attendees had the opportunity to share their views on the problems accompanying the lives of persons with disabilities and the reality they face.
Mr Georgi Georgiev, NASO President, invited Mr Radev to take part in the forthcoming European conference on Social Economy in Varna in June 2018.
In response to this the President expressed his full support and understanding of the importance of providing employment under normal and integrated working conditions on the open labour market, with continuous support being provided by employers. He proposed that the Presidency and NASO organize a joint national meeting with employers in 2018.
